Water safety
Water safety begins with learning the skills that matter most: how to find air, float, rest, and swim to safety. Through personalized, one-on-one survival swim lessons, children develop essential skills that help them respond more effectively in the water.
What is survival swim?
Babies and toddlers can't lift their heads to breathe. Our lessons teach the one skill that matters most if they ever reach the water alone: getting face-up and breathing until help arrives.

Breath control comes first. Children learn to stay calm underwater and turn toward air.

Babies roll to a back float. Toddlers learn swim-float-swim: swim, roll over to breathe, and keep going to the wall.

Accidents don't happen in swimsuits. By graduation, kids perform their skills in clothes and shoes.

Meet Kim
Kim is a mom of five. She lost her daughter Kirianna, at 2½, to a drowning accident, despite floaties, a fenced pool, and every precaution she knew to take.
She didn't know survival swim lessons existed for babies and toddlers. She didn't know floaties could give children a false sense of safety. Today she makes sure other parents do.
With compassion and patience, she gives children the skills to save themselves. Just in case.

“Kim is phenomenal! She is extremely patient, encouraging, and just the right mix of fun and strict to get your child swimming in just a few weeks! My son went from afraid of the water to confidently and safely swimming in just 4 weeks.”
Jordann S.Google review“Our 4 year-old son slipped through an inner tube in the shallow end of a pool this summer while on our family vacation and sunk straight down… In just over a month, he now floats, swims, floats and can safely make his way to the edge of the pool.”
Alexandra C.Google review“What started off as hesitancy to put their heads under water quickly gave way to full fledged love for swimming. Our kids looked forward to their lessons every day and that is a huge testament to Kim's approach.”
Harben P.Google review“Both kids have been historically hesitant of water and resistant to traditional swimming lessons. Despite this, I can confidently say the process works and we've seen tremendous results with Kim!”
Melissa W.Google review“Don't think about it… just sign up you won't regret it. Kim is amazing! She's extremely patient and kind with the children and can handle any personality calmly.”
Janice H.Google review“Ms Kim is a miracle worker! So incredibly grateful for her teaching our son how to be safe in the water. It truly has helped our anxieties with having a pool at home.”
Danielle A.Google reviewCommon worries
Most parents feel nervous before the first lesson. Here are honest answers to what we hear most.
Probably, and that's normal. Crying is how little ones complain about something new. It doesn't stop them from learning, and most children start to enjoy lessons as their skills grow.
Yes. Lessons are one-on-one with a certified instructor in the water beside your child every second. We never throw children in the water.
Floaties give a false sense of security and hold kids upright, the wrong position for swimming. A child used to them may jump in without them and not know what to do.
Every minute is private, with one instructor focused only on your child, and the goal is survival skills, not just water play.
